Yes it is possible, it's even possible to take out a whole entire team with one right click slash if you're laggy enough or if the players are bunched up.

the shovel does not have a bug, if you pay close attention to the right click you see that towards the end of the stab the shovel comes back to you and that is what kills people

I've seen the shovel kill eight people before when a player was surrounded and did a 360 shovel kill. And I know he wasn't hacking either.
Yea, the shovel is frakked up.
