in all honesty get the one your friends have got with the game you want to play
If you wanna play Halo get an XBox
If wanna play the PS3 exclusive games like Killzone, Uncharted, God of War etc (Which are quite frankly amazing.... graphics are fantastic and the stories are great) then get a PS3. They also have less of a chance of screwing up

mehh, I get 12month for like £25..
But my brother pays half too so I don't mind.
I only really play Halo / Fallout too, so mehhh ^_^
I prefer 360 over Ps3 either way :] -

played little big planet & killzone at a friends, I enjoy Halo more ^_^
although PS1 > PS3, 360, etc.
