The AWM is perfect for long rangers and quick scopers, (Thats me) because it has pinpoint acuracy, and it is almost always a one hit kill. but it is really heavy, and a lot of recoil, and slow reload rate and firing rate. But on the Other hand The Dragonov is very light, very fast reload rate, and kinda fast firing rate, for a sniper. But, the dragonov has very bad power and accuracy. so its a matter of opinion.

For every job there is a sniper rifle, but not for every sniper rifle there is a job. The Dragunov is such a sniper rifle. It lacks in power for a guaranteed 1-shot-kill (AWM/DSR-1), it lacks in firing speed to be a good tactical sniper (PSG-1/MSG90), and it is too heavy to be any good for sniping on the move (M700).
