New ribbon, way unfair for a couple of reasons.

I find this to be quite unfair for a couple of reasons.

1. "No heads up" It wouldn't of been hard to delay the change a day or two. For the people like me, i just have to deal with it now.

2. Almost impossible. What i mean by this is, if you don't play really frequently for a very long time, or don't farm, this ribbon will be many, many, months ahead. Might even take 1-2 for non farmers.

3. New players have absolutely no chance of getting this anytime soon. Anyone just coming into this, will never have a chance to achieve this ribbon, unless they decide to play for a long time, and it takes a while for newbs to get adjusted.

4. Final Reason, as previously stated 100k is too much for almost anyone, i'm just suggesting a modest kill decrease. Even with me being and 100 kills, i would gladly take 50k over 100k anyday [but i might not make it that far, see top.]

the point of ribbons is not to make it so that anyone can get it, while it is regrettable that you reseted days before this change, it is not the fault of z8 at all (lets not go into the whole portal thing) 100k makes it a ribbon that is impressive, if it's too low and anyone can get it (like yesterday when the requirement was 25 posts) there is no point whats so ever

dude, a ribbon is awarded when spectacular accomplishment has occurred. captain rank+ is a spectacular accomplishment. i dont think i would ever get this ribbon, but i dont want it lowered either.

Its a goal to aim for, ribbons are basically just free things you can get for playing the game. Personally I don't see why it is such a bother if it took more than a month, two or more. It had no impact before it was released, why now?

Its something to show off as well, something to aim for.Besides, as mentioned numerous times, it won't be the final ribbon released. chances are there will be others that you set your sights upon. there's bound to be difficult ribbons at points.

My goals are what I have aimed for in life. My goal is to be an animator, and I am takign college for it. I'm passionate enough about my goal to make sure its completed. Same principal applies here at a smaller scale; are you passionate enough to make it a worthy goal?

To address your other issues:
1. "No heads up" - I already noted this to Saidin when I realized it would cause a problem with the forumers, and suggested him to give at minimum 3 days or aweeks notice if such an instance occurred. It was a slight mistake.

2. I beleive I already covered this, but its far from impossible and its streamlined for gameplay anyways.

3. New players won't be able to obtain alot of ribbons. Such as the vetean soldier, seasonal or event ribbons because they passed already. Thats part of theadvantage of being an active and dedicated player, they too will eventually make such status just like this ribbon.

4. I do agree personally 100k is alot. As even I am about 65k from even achieving it myself. But I personally like challenges, and this will be but a speck in the waves of ribbons that will come anyways. Chances are it will hardly be noticed and one day, you'll just have it. lol

It could be worst, you could have missed one of those ribbons-you-only-have-one-chance-of-getting ribbons, like me. I will never get the Sniper Week ribbon unless Z8 does something about it, but I doubt they will.

My account is more than a year old, but I only really played for 9 months. In 9 months, I have only managed to get to a Master Sergeant 4 with 29k kills (no reset). This is one of those ribbons where you have to be absolutely crazy about CF to get. I have a life, I don't spend all my time playing CF (that's partly due to the fact that I have to sneak playing CF, my parents don't let me :P), even though I still get around 1k exp a day, I'm still stuck on Master Sergeant 4 with 29k kills.

Bottom line: it takes a LONG time to level up in CF, short time if you farm or play A LOT. This ribbon is just...gah. I already wasted enough of my time going for Sniper B1, not wasting my time with this.

I dont think 100 k is too much stop crying and wait for a new ribbon.
