Because its supposed to be good. All the shotguns are supposed to be good unlike the Tommy. The M16 should be better...but its not. Same as the M12s.

Shotgun are poop, you should use a winchester instead

i was at BL, when got in the game it's

but after i joined , the wins from BL start picking up..
than their is a sniper at 2nd LT rank at GR side, crys on me, said i only know how to run n spray with the MP5..

than a few rounds later ,he change to M4 rifle, n i change to Golden AK aswell..
still pwned him from B site base to base..

he also crys , said: i tank , ZP noob or sh1t..

It's a close battle between these two shotties. Both are high power at close range (1 hit kill if point blank). However accuracy based I'd go with XM1014 however since the spas-12 has 8 rounds instead of 6 I'd most likely go for the spas.
