M4A1 gold compared to M4A1 - ADV = more power, slower reload, same recoil and +3 ammo
AK gold compared to AK - Camo = more power, faster reload better recoil and 3 ammo...
Honestly I play better with the M4 custom than the M4 gold...
I regret the gold M4 -.-

It all depends on your specific play style. If you can control an ak to its fullest then the ak gold is by far the better of the two rifles. The m4 is still great but it is a typical m4, kinda feels like there is les recoil and spread.
