Crossfire downloader "Fail to start..."

had to reinstall crossfire,
i used the crossfire downloader thingy,
it gets to 100% and then says "[Failed to start process.]"
Any way to fix this? or do i just use a different downloaderrrr?

Did you try the mirror site for the download? If I am not mistaken there are 2 different download options. Also, I have downloaded CF a couple times in the past. I just keep the download for "reinstall purposes" in my saved folders on the desktop.

all the downloaders seem to do that for me. just find where it downloaded the .exe to and run it.

Reboot your Pc. then try again .Also delete ALL CF files without exception . for your replays and ss better to copy them on a CD in case you need them back. .
I had this problem and now it`s ok .

could be anywhere really. if you use the downloader from the splash page then you can choose where you want.

lol, you could use bitcomet to download it through that. cuts the download time but does hog ur internet.

It`s only technical without the support.
When I had problems I posted there but never get any support haha and the thread is still without any answer.

It says that to me too when i use it but it has still downloaded. Just find it and install the game.
