Not the best grahic card, u can't play that good on a 24'' Full HD 1920 x1080
Give a look to these benchmark:
http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html
The processor is not better then i5 2500...
http://www.cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html
So ure pc is cheaper but not better then mine
LoL yeah!
mmm without monitor, with 4 gb ram and cheaper case (75euro): total is 874 Euro ---> about 1167$ (no tax)
But this build is way better objectively compared to ure and is upgradable too in the future ^_^
AMD = Better for gaming.
Intel = Better for multitasking.
If you are basing your decisions in only those benchmarks you need to do some research.
Some weeks ago I updated my PC, I had an Intel Dual Core 1.8 Ghz CPU, now I have an Intel i3 3.0 Ghz CPU (Yes, that's an Intel, I know I root a lot for the AMD processors but this i3 CPU was a gift. Anyways, The FPS increase in my games is barely noticable, however, when it comes to run multiple tasks at once, you can clearly see the difference) And I wasn't expecting a lot of the i3, but I thought the results would be better.
In the end, AMD still pwnz at the performance/price range. -

i'm not telling intell is beter just that my build is better of ure in all the area (gaming too)
yeah
It's not better than mine, but costs a good £400 more.
And I'm including my 20% tax, keyboard, desk, etc. -

mmm? i'm talking about sp4wn lol
and btw i've saw ure and yes mine is still better
lol
u have windows 7 32 bit with 6 GB of ram?....win 7 32bit read only about (something less) 4 GB of ram lol
Graphics Card:
gtx 570 > ATI HD6850 1GB HDTV
Hard Drive:
2 x Samsung Spingpoint F4 320GB (RAID 0) > 1.5TB 7200RPM Sata2
and still have Samusng SpinPoint F31TB for storage
can u tell me the name of ure cpu? -

The clock speed of your processor is slower, it has less cores.
Your GPU is about the best thing you've bought, but it's nothing a 6850 couldn't handle.
You've overdone it with the RAM, even with 64-bit 7, the most you're really gonna need is 6GB considering it's 1600mhz. Your second HDD is good, presuming it's IDE. Your optical is pretty bog-standard, considering BluRay DVD-ROM drives are faster and more reliable. -

Presuming he isn't an idiot he can software overclock the CPU. Cores wouldn't be such a big deal it depends on the task and the softwares ability to work with hyperthreading. He can go with even less ram with a little memory timing and overclock tweaking. Why IDE Satan is duh shizzit -

Actually, after a few weeks that 6850 will be in xfire, 2GB.
You should AT LEAST be buying 750GB HDDs, even if they're S-ata2. Games can take upto 15GB these days.
And I'll be using Win-7 64-bit, since I managed to get my hands on a copy.
My CPU is a AMD Phenom II 3.5ghz Black Edition Hex-Core. It can be stably OC'd to around 4.02ghz per core. It'll be on a hyperthreaded mobo, but I'm thinking of getting the silvercooler gel, not too sure yet.
Your build seems mostly to do with games, mines based around multimedia and editing. You're gonna have to upgrade some of your stuff far sooner than I will.i thought cookie is dumb...
Goin' in-game in a bit, come k? -

yeah
From what I've seen so far, you only want that build to play games...
Now read your posts, are you really going to spend almost $2,000 USD just for a gaming PC? Seriously? I only would if I need it for work, but for gaming? -

My point exactly +1 -

Refer to the 250 dollar gaming build floating around. With a better gpu that build could outperform or at least hold it's own vs most under 1 thousand gaming computers. -

If i only had the enough money to buy an AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition CPU with a motherboard, I would even give away my Intel Core i3 CPU with the motherboard

Outperform? Not even!
Hold it's own? I don't even know, lol.... -

My rig not only serves as a gaming machine, but also a home entertainment centre.
Personally, I wouldn't want my BluRays to be choppy. -

As soon as I saw it, I was like "shii I've gotta get that". I read about the i9 Hex-Core the other day. It'll be an amazing PCU, but you can no doubt guess the prices of em, not to mention whether or not current 1366 Intel sockets will support it, meaning another $200 on top  -

Doesn't usually cost 2 grand to prevent tearing. Albeit that does make it harder to keep the price low. -

As far as I'm concerned, Intel can kiss my lil' Mexican ass everytime they want. I'm going to marry AMD:D -

Mine doesn't cost 2K.
It's only at £600 or so at the moment, including high-ass tax and a huge glass desk.As far as I'm concerned, Intel can kiss my lil' Mexican ass everytime they want. I'm going to marry AMD:D
I'm afraid, AMD is cheating on you, with me
