  • For me: dance around as there won't be as much annoying DMCA legal battles or issues like today, and stupid bans on japanese animated content because a bunch of whiny people from america condone it. Popular american music can sink below mainstream, giving other music in other countries a chance. No more Hollywood like films killing classics. Large companies that excel in genetic modification can kiss goodbye...

    just in my opinion.

You must be a nerd if you live in the US
  • China is fast becoming bi-lingual entirely, English is the second language. Now I dont think there would be any war, is the US of A that brings in the pre-emptive strike! I would rather Chine be the only "Super Power" I really would.
  • Wouldn't happen in the near future.

U.S. Government has some exploits, but also has many secrets. What makes you think the US will fall?

A slight recession? Economic rollercoaster. It happens.

United States had a BIG influence on the world. I enjoy the people who bash on the United States, and yet they have no clue how much the US had influenced. Either bad or good, you guys don't even CARE about the good things and bash on the bad. Taking things for granted will haunt you.

oh don't worry, china will become democratic almost certainly within the next 30 years.

    compare/contrast 1980's china and 2010's china.
    momentum is hard to stop.
Doubt it. China is satisfied with being semi-democratic/communist.

Don't listen the Obama, he just want to be re-elected.
    .....It's called Cold War.

Who cares if Russia was first in Space?

US was the one who landed on the moon.
Most developed? Maybe related to most people too...?

Is far removed from a one country rule. We is now into One world governing- one world religion!
Take your head outta the sand foo!
Yes, America defends Japan/Israel, but for the capital. It's iffy. I rather not discuss because it causes tensions because of the ethics of the support.

New World Order won't happen. Never ever. Humans will always be prejudice.

Why would a Canadian hate on the US? We both depend on eachother, more Canada being dependent and US a bit more self-sufficient.

The first sentence is correct. China as the only Super Power?

    NO political freedom?

No thanks. Thank America for our freedom. I enjoy my freedom.

well there are some that can't, there are 3 levels of ranking obviously the higher ranking have ridiculous aim and i believe we're the only organized militia in the US

    Level Three Skill Requirements:

    Shooting Abilities, pick ANY TWO:

    A. Qualify on AQT

    B. 9 out of 10 on a 4”inch target at 100 yards

    C. 4-Pin Shoot in under 45 seconds (time to be discussed...)

    D. Pistol Qualify - TBD (8 out of 10 shots on a 9" paper plate at 7 yards)

HELL YEAH, but, you can go to Nunavut with your family, lots of space there, and Polar Bears. You'll most likely need a satellite to watch Degrassi.
  • No offense, but America hasn't won a war since World War II. They have the nukes to nuke the world four times over, but can't win a war. It's kind of sad actually, I'm not American, but my teachers have told us about how they cover up for their "retreats" from wars.

uh maybe before bush, but def not now

i heard that they were trying to create a mini sun to use it for energy.....and i just thought "-.-'' dumbass"

usa would probably fall right now, by intervening in some other country's affairs(ie:north korea) which they have a history of doing (ie EVERYWAR they fought for like 100 years)
    and then getting nuked

LOL, guess they don't have US history in Canada, we don't have yours so i guess that is reasonable.

    Major conflict's after WW2:

    Cold war: US WON
    Korean: We won
Vietnam Conflict: US is said to be lost by the public, however if you look at all the battles statistics, the US never lost one battle in vietnam
    Gulf: We won
    Afgan: still ongoing
    Iraqi War: still ongoing

    Who's satisfied, Mr. Park? -.-

It's important to differentiate between a nation's government and its people.
Usually, it works like this: people = awesome, govt = annoying dumbasses.

Especially with the growing capabilities of technology, it becomes increasingly difficult for the government to suppress organized dissent. Admittedly, the Chinese Democracy movement has been in a slump since the Tianamen Square protests. After all, having over 100,000 people protest and end in failure is somewhat discouraging. However, it's highly unlikely that China's current "semi-democratic" state will last for long without any further sliding into "democracy."

    Cold War: gewd job?
Korean War: Um... no one won. North Korea exists as a totally isolated Communist country. Is that really what you call a "victory"?
Vietnam: "Never lost a battle"...yet how many people died or had their limbs blown off? What did the U.S. achieve? While the whole point of the war was to prevent the expansion of Communism, the Communists took over the country and today, Vietnam is still Communist. Good job on "winning."
Gulf War: Yeah, that one the U.S. just pwned, plain and simple.
Afghan: not sure what Obama's trying to achieve by sending more troops there...
Iraq: The U.S. will pull out soon. I suppose we can call this a "partial victory" since Saddam got PZ'ed?

If you want to look at vietnam as kill death i think the US kill death ratio was 20.2+, we lost simply because the majority of the american public did not accept the war and was pressured to pull out of the conflict, and if you read anything about the korean war, they basically pushed north korea back and saved south korea, i consider that a victory. Afgan: poorly mismanaged by obama, he wouldn't know how to manage a war because he has no military background, same goes for Iraq
