but why have a game with every one using 2-3 weapons when we could have 30+ fair ones. i'm trying to help the GAME. you and denxi are trying to help people's individual scores.
False, read the post. OP guns have no place in an environment where skill matters. Such as a league. I never said they did. If you had actually read the post, you would have seen that I specified "public" games, and explained why.

Again, WHY DOES IT MATTER IF THEY ARE OP? It's a public game that we're talking about. Sure, in a League setting I would agree with you that there needs to be balance. But seriously why does it matter in a public game? It's meant for fun. You do know what fun is don't you? Why does the score matter?

His point was NOT defending unbalanced weapons if you ACTUALLY read the post. Who cares if someone is using an unbalanced weapon? As if there is ANY reflection of skill in a public game. Don't make me laugh. Why does it matter? This game lives and breathes off of shiny items that sell. It's not like one can go out and buy Cross Fire like one would buy Call of Duty. Your arguments have no grounds because you can't compare a pay to play game and a free to play game. Two totally different levels of game play. Come back to reality.

Public games don't represent skill. OP items only matter when comparing skill. Therefore whether or not a gun or item is OP is irrelevant in a public game. -

Again, you basing this off the fact that public games ACTUALLY matter. For some people, this is their first FPS game. If they aren't good at using an M4 or an AK you're going to fault them for using a Scar Light or an M12? Again, skill has no basis in a public game. Public game is just for that, the public. It takes aim to kill someone, whether they have an M12 or a Scar Light or an AK or an M4. If you can't kill them, who's problem is that?
Like I said, in a League of course there is going to be a balanced rule set. That's the point of a League, balance. But we are discussing public games and thus again why does it really matter what weapons people use? Are you THAT self-conscious about not being able to kill them? Sounds like a personal problem. -

First of all, you're exaggerating like there's no tomorrow.
Don't get me wrong, we all know there are a lot of 'kids' playing this game and a lot of them tend to complain easily when not being treated as they think they should.
But you're simply insulting everyone else (yourself including) by calling these immature people this community. I cant tell what percentage these whiny little -i dont know whats- represent of this game but 100% of the pubbers is a bit too much, don't you think?
Second, stating that skill is irrelevant in pubs is nonsense. Pubbing IS (quite) a level higher than just rushing in egypt, but where does that exclude the possibility of highly skilled players having fun in a pub? As you play pubs as well, does that take away your skill? Did you never ever had a (relatively) competetive pub?

there are guns in crossfire that have very low recoil and high damage with high accuracy and high rate of fire, light weight, fast reload.
css,cod4,tf2 etc do not have this problem. -

Stop dodging my questions. This isn't about me. You haven't provided a logical argument as to HOW your opinion is relevant to this entire situation. Where are the FACTS that NO ONE in this game has fun? Just because YOU think the game is unbalanced makes it so?
Public games are serious business clearly.
