Defect Download Mirrors?

When I wanna download CF from here:
http://crossfire.z8games.com/downloads2.aspx
it downloads the setup. When I wanna open the data...Nothing...
It becomes like a corrupt file. I can´t open it. Also on the page it says "for fast fownload" please click here", when I click there I get an "404 ERROR" - "The page cannot be found".
My "PC Expert Guy" tried downloading CF, too. His PC told him to better not to.

I tried another download source - It doesn´t work either, same thing...

Also, a bit Off-Topic, I downloaded Utorrent from here: http://www.chip.de/downloads/uTorren..._16827062.html
Shortly, after the Download my PC crashed. Bluescreen said "A driver has overrun a stack-based buffer. This overrun could potentially allow a malicious user to gain controll of this machine": I deinstalled it. PC seems to work fine now.

Please help me. Wanna play with my friends again.

EDIT: There might, might be Problems with my FritzBoxWlan.

it`s around 25 MB so it may take some times to download.

The CF Install files are not 25 megs. And we can't support any download that didn't come from our website.

If your friends computer is telling him not to download it then it is probably detecting a false positive for a virus scan during download. Some free and cheap virus scanners seem to flag the game files as being corrupt somehow.

Your scanner is likely doing this as well. Try disabling your scanner while you download and install the game. This should correct any problems.

If your getting a 404 then you might have your firewall set up to block this site or download, which would also create corrupted downloads as per your original problem.

Lastly, please post this kind of thing in the technical support forum. As that is what it is there for. (this thread will be moved there now)

Yes you are right the file size is 483 MB and it`s my allocated space that is 25 . so I will not be able to help him.:(

Uhm with Scanner, you mean liek AntiVir?
Cause I disabled my Firewall, chose your link and it still won´t work. When as good as finished, it just doesn´t react anymore.
