Seriously, the title is about as accurate as all of you "Please help me my account got hacked" thread starters. I highly doubt that any of you had your account compromised because someone hacked into the Z8 database and stole your information. That would be someone hacking your account.

Please start titling your threads something like "Please help I gave someone my password and they changed it" or "I downloaded questionable software that contained a keylogger because I wanted to cheat at the game or get software without paying for it". These are far more accurate statements, and will apply to the vast majority of you.

To the rest of you, don't have your password the same as your User ID, that is just as stupid as the above.

1. If people think they can get information out of you they will try, so don't give them diddly squat. Doesn't matter who they are or what they "promise" - don't give anything up.

2. A hacker is a highly advanced computer programmer, that is generally known to partake in illegal activity and cyber crime. I myself am a professional computer programmer that knows a great deal about network/database security and am sometimes tempted to test my abilities in the wrong way. However, there are strict code of ethics that people like me have to abide by. If your interested you can learn more about them by Google-ing "code of ethics for computer science.
