Shotguns - Noob Cannons?

Alright, while in a clan war, the others were hating on one of my members for using a shotgun and they were calling him out for using the Dual Desperado's. They might have just been mad because he was owning them with them, but I want to know the forums opinion on this. Would you consider any shotgun over powered like the Scar Light and M12s?

yes. Shotguns are ok and they are nessisary for Missions so always have a shotty

are u kidding dude?.... u can basically get easy headshots with any gun when in close range whether it's a shotgun or not... and the duals are awesome whether other people like it or not... and hopefully z8 won't f*ck it up like they did with the winchesters. and i see m4 and ak users all the time who spray and spray and spray and seems to always get a headshot without even aiming. lets say dual shoties vs kriss, and the kriss noob sprays untill he dumps his clip; more than likely he's gonna kill you before you put your second shot in him

A shotgun in this game does what a real combat shotgun would do. There for I do not think they are overpowered. They have there uses and boy do they have there limitations.

Definitely not. Long ranged, they are useless. They cannot really do anything. I'd rather call it something like an AK. You can spray close ranged with it, but cannot do anything long ranged if you spray.

Shottys are great for ambushing... and true, it is hard to kill someone with a shotty. I think they're fun to toy around with

O.o! You serious? They arent noob cannons but with the right hands they are deadly. Maybe they are cryin cuz of the dual desperado hits. I am sure with those double ds on comes with a price. Ammo and reload time. If you get kicked out of matches cuz you re using any type of shotguns, you are doing something right. Believe me. XD

The Dual Desperado's are pretty hard hitting at long ranges. But the Spas and XM both aren't as good. The reload time for Dual Desperado's aren't that bad either. I'm deffinately going to buy a pair when I can.

Well, they aren't that slow. I like the "shoot as you reload" option with the SPAS and XM.

They arn't slow but the dual despero, winchester r. Its easier to kill with a gun rather than shotty

It's still technically a rifle. I don't care what it's characteristic's are, it's still a rifle. Even CF got it wrong, they think it's an SMG. :P
