Shotguns are not OP .

They just QQ because they get owned with them .

The spas and the xm1014 have been around since the start of the game, no one's complained about them because they've gotten used to them. the fact that there's a new shiny toy that almost everyone can get will instantly cause haters because they've bought it and either don't like it or can't use it. in my opinion the xm1014 is still superior.

Well, I just bought my DD today, and after 5 min playing with them, got called a "skilless noob"
People will cry about any weapon that kill them, and while QQing about Scar-L, M12s or Tommy is understandable (but still lame) Shotguns in CF are everything but overpowered.

If you use the Dual Desperados :
- at close range, jumping everywhere and shooting in the upper body, you'll kill a lot, and land a ton of headshots (exactly what you would expect from a shotgun)
- at medium range, you may need all your 8 shots to kill your enemy (depending on whether he politely presented himself to you almost dead or denied you an easy kill and had full health and armor)
- at long range, you may as well throw the weapon on your enemy because it's higly unlikely you'll harm him more than a 15 feet fall
- you'll hate the reload time ; as efficient as this weapon is at short range, you'll use its 8 shells pretty quickly
- you'll be able to play GM w/o annoying the hell out of your teammates given its muffled firing sound (as illogical as the almost silenced Anaconda but hey... it's CF)

In CF, shotguns in general are balanced. They suck at long range but compensate by being very good at close range. As long as they do not bring the Jackhammer or USAS-12 (or any semi-auto shotty because they will do it wrong and awfully OP), and change the stupid SPAS-12 sound, it's perfect.

Nah shotguns arent op, they are just dangerous when you're close up to a shotty. Just stay in a safe far distance
