On a scale from 1 to 10, how well will this headset help me in GM?
Hey well for Christmas I am one hundred percent getting this headset:

Now I would like to know how it will help me in GM. For reference I made the tryouts of Ashera (flyhigh) with regular iPod buds, but recently they have been glitchy and now the bass on them is terrible, I can't hear breath at all.
FYI I picked this headset to ask for because it is cheap, good quality, and it is universal so it can be used for my ps3 -add me my psn is Mr_Chublet-

tbh it's not, if I was doing that I could come up with a whole bunch more things than that headset [I.e. I am in my iPad right now, yes I'm contradicting my statement but it's an example] -

It's a tough decision between this and the AX pros but the ax pros require an extra power source and the mic is hard plastic, so I decided to ask for the 720s

And just because crossfire doesn't support surround sound does not mean that the headphones will not be great for crossfire. They probably have high quality sound and properly cancel outside noise. -

Whats the point in having a surround sound capable headset and not use it? Its pointless.....
You can easily ind something cheaper that uses stereo and still have good quailty sound -

2 things here.
1. He said GM. Implying it was for Crossfire
2. Hes already said hes using it for his PS3. Where I agreed that it was good enough if he wasnt paying for it (which I implied since its a gift) -

Really nice sound quality, but VERY heavy.
and a HORRIBLE mic, very staticy...poorly built.
I've firsthand heard the perfectness of the mic, you should have called up tritton and sent the mic in.
Also Ive heard about it being heavy. If all else fails I guess I'll just wear one of those airplane pillows while I play rofl -
For cheaper you can get a Steelseries V2 or something from razer that's just as good.
I have a SteelSeries V2 7.1 atm...and it's really good.
Very light, great mic, good sound quality.
Was this back in KillerWhales, because you sounded fine back then. -
After you left from KW I got a triton...and replaced it twice...mic was horrible.
I read 100s of reviews saying the mic was terrible.

Well, I use a Logetech ClearChat Confort USB.
Works well as any other. Saving up, and planning to get a job to buy some SteelSeries gear.
