Melee Weapons
Which melee weapon do you like the best? I'll give my thoughts about each one.
Katana: Long reach. I like how on the right click you can hold it. I find the left click quite ineffective though. It's awesome 'cause it's a Japanses ninja sword!
Axe: Makes cool noises when you swing it. A little heavier, but the left click is good. The right click takes a little long though. It's a pretty good weapon.
Shovel: The weapon of choice for most pro players in GM. Both clicks are good. I just don't like the idea of using a shovel as a weapon though... But that's just me. Also, it's bugged... Which is annoying.
Knife: The weapon of choice for those who just started, the brave/idiotic and people who can't/won't buy ZP. What it lacks in power it makes up for with speed. Fast but not so lethal left click, and the right click is too. If you can aim for the head with it, it's a dangerous weapon.
Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Pro gm'ers don't use the shovel, they use the axe because of the right click 1-hit headshot capability, quick, clean, and fast kills packed into one weapon, also, the left click is useful for sure kills...

True, but when I go into GM, most BLs are using a shovel more than an axe. And the way you described the katana's reach... Epic win. -
i like the knife and the axe cause they are both perm weapons and im stingy, i dont want to give back anything. i wold love the shovel if it was a perm cause i like the ideal of using it as a weapon, would make me smile each time i used it to do anything but dig a foxhole

i used the shovel when it first came out, i knew it was kindof op but i still used it for the lenght i had it. i only considered it a stronger weapong. nothing else. then i switched to the axe... and saw a HUGE diference, my kdr halved while i still got better at bhoping. i think i only missed once with a shovel in my life, and dear god i felt bad when i did. -

who use left click? the fact that the axe does more damages then the shovel with a left click is a horible way to compare the two.
the shovel got more power then the axe with a right click, faster movement speed, faster attack speed, higher reach and a glitched animation making it simply harder to dodge. theirs no comparing the two. -

-When items are launched they will frequently be via ZP; this is something we're in continually discussion about with the developers. Many of the items in our version are only cash-shop in other regions. There will be other methods to acquire these items (contests) and it isn't out of the question that they will eventually slide to GP, though when and what is not set in stone. -
The pros... Left click + AXE / Your head = Noobs QQing calling a GHOST hack!

and i rather use the right click with the axe due to the fact a body shot is way easyer then a hs when your bhoping. + its not like you will hit at a diferent time if you time it. the left click is only really good on arena or so. if your so good and can manage to hs with a melle will bhoping all the time, don't use the axe, us the knife, its so much better for that. -
Knife: Basic Melee Wep. It's fast. Right Click is ok, sometimes 1 hit kill to body sometimes 90, always 1 hit kill to head.
Axe: Best Left Click for Melee wep. 100 to the head 60-70 to the body. Right Click 1 hit anywhere but legs (80) Overall imo best melee wep.
Shovel: Good Melee Right Click thats long and it laggs... Left click is good too, but it does 90 to the head instead compared to the axe which does 100... Right click is very powerful 1 hit anywhere including legs.
Katana: Left click sucks. Right click = great. You can hold down right click, then release when the time is right, Long range, 1 hit kill anywhere. When holding down right click you slow down, so thats the downside. In GM if you hold down right click you don't slow down, so that's were this weapon is very effective.
