Simply put:
Any Modern Laptop/Computer EXCEPT A MAC you can get from a Electronic store is very likely that you can play CF.. (You can play a lot more than CF with modern computers)

It's really the Internet Connection that matters.

Any computer with at least 512 mb memory and a modem which goes 55 kbps is a goood enough..

Only bad thing is the radeon 4200. Other than that it will run it fine.

It won't make it better, that's for sure, well.. depends if he's going to run games in the same resolution or not.

Ordering my lappy tomorrow. Not for playing CF =/.

Of course it will. IDK the resolution limit on CF but if he buys a 30" screen he will be running at 2560*1600 it will have a massive impact on performance.
