Because when we run events, we generally make the rooms in advance having you on our friends list would give you an unfair advantage to the other players. Our friends lists are restricted to MODS and other GMs.

Well.. he's not suppose to ..i mean here at forum
It's the same policy, especially the first thing that happens when I add people to friends they just spam my inbox with "KAN I HAS ZP NOW THAT WERE FRIENDS??"
