Bueno, encontre la solucion. para este error.

la dejo aqui, luego si quieres puedes ponerla en otra parte, si quieres, creo que es util.

vas a la carpeta donde esta instalado el juego. suele ser en:
C:\Archivos de programa\Z8Games\CrossFire

Buscas el archivo *version.ini*, le das click secundario y que no este marcado en solo lectura.
aplican, luego abren el archivo con block de notas, modifican un valor.
En esta nueva version dice

LatestVersion = 1053

tienen que modificarle.

LatestVersion = 1054

Guardan el archivo. luego le dan click secundario y clikean para que quede como *solo lectura*

abren el juego, se actualiza otra vez, tar.dara 1 o 2 minutitos y ya. a jugar !!!

espero que pueda ayudarles a los que pasen por lo mismo.
