Actually, the majority agrees with the fact that lots of people slash their axes. They don't agree with you when you say that only pro axers slash their axes. Slashing is easy, people tend to click the left mouse more than the right mouse button. 100% Damage with a knife slash is impossible, unless the game bugs.
Standard slash damage in the head is 90%. If you meant stab, you would be right. Headstab is 100% damage.
Another thing: the katana. People say it's "scrub", but it's like the WORST melee weapon in CF. So how can it be scrub? Mostly people can't handle it, and if they can, they get owned by shovelers or axers.
I know this because I have had a katana. It's only useful in Ghost Mode, because in other modes you slow down when preparing your attack (right mouse).
The axe slash is annoying indeed, but the shovel slash is even more annoying. But I agree with the Knives only being KNIVES ONLY and not MELEE only. -

If it isn't scrub then why does it annoy/irritates you when someone uses the axe like that (only slashes/left click)?
Also, wow... give an official definition to "scrub" people. People call the Scar Light and M12s (over-powered weapons) scrub because they are too easy to get kills... and now people call the Katana a scrub weapon because it sucks and can hardly kill... that's ironic. -

This depends on the ping and FPS you have.
I have a ping of 27 and 150 FPS in US South server.
The left click axers aren't a problem for me with my knife (unless of course your computer performance is better).
Actually I am better with knife than axe. -_- -
I'd say the axe, if people used it like newer axe users, wouldn't be so OP. Since more and more people are using left click, it gets to be a problem for knife users. It's like they always have to get perfect timing to beat an axe left click.er.

If you're able to win against him, that still doesn't prove my point wrong (you would be within 1% of people that CAN beat them) because "those" axe users still prove superior against others. I don't QQ when I often play legit alot in Knife Only Matches... get lost. -

Sorry, but with an axe in your hand, your basically unstoppable. You can't really kill a really smart and pro axer. You have to keep changing the way of your knifing to get a kill off of one of 'em. I'll show you, I have a perm axe so 1v1 me in a knifing match.
