Sound bug=Frame lag/crash?

Alright, bit of a story on this. Last year before I took a break from CF I had a so-so headset that worked pretty darn well(Yey ghost mode) but the damn thing ended up breaking(Part of why I quit) So I switched to some very nice Altec Lansing speakers with equally nice headphones. The problem? Well..When more than Rifle starts to fire at the same time, sound glitches, clogs up and my frames literally freeze and sometimes CF fully crashes. I tried reinstalling I tried fiddling with settings, no clue what or why. Any suggestions?
-Not my soundcard because it's the same soundcard has I had before.

    Maybe your pc can't handle the load? Try Gamebooster.

    My PC worked fine before. Same PC. So..Doesn't seem to valid, but you never know.
