CPU spikes to 100%.. =(

Ok so guys.. I have windows vista and when i open Crossfire and log in and press "Ok" theres this long freeze and then it gets to the servers page. When i double click any server same thing happens.. I have a laptop with Direct X installed and latest graphics driver. When i press any button that sends data i get this long freeze.. I don't know whats the problem.. Please help im very desperate to play Crossfire.. It worked before when i downgraded to XP but then the laptop broke and was sent for repair which now is done and back and i am using it right now. Oh one last thing i have AVG anti-virus installed.

So your processor light, is indicated it's working overtime?

If not, then it may be a port problem.

Simply open the relevant ports on your modem, and see if that fixes it.

My processor works fine cause i tested it on Runescape and it was smooth... Maybe its just that Vista is incompatible or what? I have home premium.

No I mean, you know when CF is loading up, you enter your info, then you select OK, is the processor over working itself at that point? (the light'll stay on)
