Cannot connect to the server

A while back (in 2009) i downloaded crossfire and then it said 'Connection to the server lost' then i uninstalled it now ive installed it again i dont kniw how to fix it...Help plz?

So your still getting this error?
When exactly do you get it? is it as soon as you log in? or when you try and load a map?
What anti virus are you running?

I am using Anti Vir as antivirus system and the exact message is Connection to server failed.
i think lots of people get this error and its as soon as i log in. everything loads then it just comes up as the login screen

Check your firewall. Make sure that Crossfire, Client MFC Application, and patcher_cf all have full access. If that doesnt work make sure your router firewall is allowing crossfire to access the internet. There is a sticky at the top that deals with Disconnecting and some fixes.

Also you might want to run Crossfire as admin. you can right click on it and hit "run as admin" This normally fixes some connection bugs.

em...where can i find patcher cf and stuff i can find crossfire but i cant find any others
