XTrap error Device database of OS is not normal

Hi,
I reinstalled Windows XP Pro (32bit) yesterday, updated it and installed SP3. As anti-virus program I use Kaspersky Internet security. Yesterday, I had no problems playing Crossfire. Today, though, when I try to start it, just when the HGW game watcher window is gone and I can see the CF background picture of the login screen for a sec, the game exits and XTrap shows this error message:

I have tried to reinstall CF as described here: http://forum.z8games.com/showthread.php?t=96897. It didn't help.

How can I fix this problem?

Restart computer, if it doesnt work then close all programs and antivirus swiched on in the right down corner

By now I have restarted my computer numerous times, it didn't help. I also tried to close all running programs, including background applications and my anti-virus... Still, X-Trap shows this error.

Hm, maybe I have an idea. gigili, what hardware do you have in your PC? So CPU, Motherboard, Graphics card and RAM?
