i am talking about de dust 2 from CSS or nile valley from MAT btw i have not played CSS but i have played MAT for a couple weeks

It isn't the same. For example at cat and mid doors, but it is quite similar. One can defiantly tell that dust influenced BW.

Yeah it kinda is but it really is meant more for sniping. DeDust2 didn't have nearly as much sniping area as black widow does. Black Widow is simply much bigger. I loved De Dust 2 because it was one of the most well rounded maps, for all ranges of gunfire.

Would definitely agree there has to be some influence though.

it's not even called de_dust 2
de ist the gamemode.
the map is called dust 2.

This is kind of old. Black Widow was made in the other versions to satisfy the CS playing population over there. Somehow, they got the rights to make de_dust2, so now they have two maps with basically the same skeleton.
