Some applicable Z8Games Terms of Use explained
Before I start, as with all my seriously long threads, please don't waste my time and post useless messages such as "tl;dr" or "cool story bro" and other similar statements. It does nothing to contribute to the actual point of the thread and just shows that you can not comprehend an intelligent thread. Now that the bad part is over, without further a due:
I am going to go through and explain some relevant terms of use from Z8Games that apply directly to a lot of threads being made by users. Hopefully this will shed light on why Z8Games staff and the company in general do things the way they do them.

I'm pretty sure that the public "hatred" towards a particular race of people, regardless of their actions, is considered defamatory, abusive, and encourages unethical behavior (more people acting in the same abusive and/or racist manner towards a particular race). It could also fall under the policies of harassment as stated above. This is not the only example, but the best one in recent days as I have noticed. Consider yourselves lucky that the Moderators and GM's are being lenient with such rules.

Be a little less ignorant and make it easier on everyone. Be a little more mature and maybe now you will take your actions into consideration first before posting. A simple "I hate Brazilians" thread could potentially lead to you losing your account. Not to mention, it does absolutely no good and gets nothing accomplished. End of seriously long thread.
Until next time...

Just pointing out the obvious.

The opening statement found on the Terms of Use. Upon registering an account on this website, you have agreed to abide by these Terms of Use set forth. Whether you read them or not is your responsibility. If you get punished for violating them and claim ignorance, that's your fault.IMPORTANT - YOU MUST READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS OF USE AND ACCEPT THIS AGREEMENT. BY CLICKING ON THE "I ACCEPT. REGISTER" BUTTON THAT APPEARS ON THE REGISTER PAGE, YOU INDICATE THAT YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS OF USE.

This is for those of you that constantly complain about your threads being edited, moved, closed, and/or deleted. Z8Games staff has the right to do anything they deem necessary with a thread that is in violation of these terms of use or other policies of Z8Games, which includes the Z8Games forum rules. If you don't like it, I don't think that is their problem :cool:Z8Games does not monitor all submissions to the site, but reserves the right to do so and to remove or edit anything that is in violation of these terms of use or other policies of Z8Games.
Termination of Usage
Z8Games may terminate or suspend your access to all or parts of the Service, without notice, for any conduct that Z8Games in its sole discretion, believes is in violation of this Agreement or applicable law, or is detrimental to the interests of another user or any third party.
If they feel the reason is adequate, then they have every right to suspend and/or deactivate your account. When someone gets banned, there was obviously a reason. As it states here, they have every right to do so without notice.Z8Games also reserves the right to alter or permanently ban any player's account with or without any notice at any time for any reason should the need arise.
Information Provide by You
If you submit information to our site, you agree not to (1) post or transmit anything that is defamatory, libelous, abusive, unlawful, obscene, threatening, fraudulent, ****ographic or harmful, or that could encourage criminal or unethical behavior; (2) post or transmit pyramid schemes, chain letters, or conduct gambling; (3) post or transmit anything that violates the copyright or intellectual property rights of any person or entity; (4) post or transmit a virus or any other harmful component; or (5) contact other site users through unsolicited e-mail, telephone calls or any other method of communication.
Harassment is often an issue at any situation, which causes insecurity, lack of interest in the game environment and during some situations may pose a threat. Harassment may include calling inappropriate names, producing offensive or negative remarks which may be directed to a single player or a group of players, passing rumors or any message in the chat window that is considered offensive in accordance with the "Game Policy".
Thus, harassment of any kind regardless of the degree of harassment is not tolerated under any circumstances. These matters are compiled into a serious consideration since the security and the interest of other players are highly important to the nature of our business. Treat each and every player the way you would like to be treated.

Call me a wannabe-Moderator or whatever names you use for these kind of posts. I am only stating what information is already there and should be payed attention to. Some of the threads being made in recent days are just about in direct violation of some of these Terms of Use and users should consider themselves lucky that the Z8Games staff is being lenient towards your actions. All rules and regulations that govern the entire game policy are set by Z8Games and must be followed without any violation. Z8Games reserves the right to change or add other rules should the need arise.
Each player, by engaging his/her self in the game play agree to follow all the above rules which are set forth.

Doesn't exclude them from falling under the Terms of Use. They signed up for an account on this website, they clicked "Accept" on those Terms of Use. They are liable for their actions regardless of them having the ability to be mature or not. -
I see your point yet stick to the fact that this is the internet, 90% of this community will not understand this topic.
Understood. I will never stop trying to reach the community members. Call me crazy and all.
Lead by example and usually others will follow. If one person walks away understanding this thread and the policies better, then the purpose of my attempt worked

I'm a nerd. I analyze things.
Probably one of the 0.1% who actually read the whole thing in order to analyze it

Polleus kindly took his time to explain this material.
We all know him for his attemps to improve this community's behavior, but as Deadeye said, even if the rules were like "Don't do this and don't do that" people wouldn't read it anyways.
This is important. Before signing up to any site, product, etc, what you have to do is read the ToS, no matter which site is.
And that also applies to real life. -

People must think I'm crazy sometimes, haha. I honestly believe if users were made aware of what they do not know, things can be set towards the right direction for this community. It may not happen overnight, but it will eventually happen. I'm a determined person.

All good information ;D
Even if this is a F2P game, there should be a limit age play thingy.
It's not that hard to "fake" an age on here, but if you are smart enough to comprehend signing up and interacting on a forum, you should be smart enough to comprehend the rules and regulations of that said forum. Just because you don't read them, doesn't mean they aren't there. You are still liable for their contents and if you get banned for breaking the rules, ignorance is not an excuse. -
I run a forum of my own (non fps related) with over 5000 registered members and I can honestly say no one reads the ToS on a forum. I wish they would and I wish the ToSes were enforced. I do on my forum, mostly with a warning, then an ip ban if they don't listen.
Good info above Kris, nice to see the whole internet community isn't as immature as it seems. Keep it up. -
Well I wrote it with the intention of people hopefully reading at least some of it. I figured it would more easily be seen here than from a link at the bottom of Z8Games homepage. Whether or not people get anything out of it, is up to them. It's important for people to understand that they should consider themselves lucky that the Moderators and GM's do not punish users for every single violation in the ToS. We'd have a lot more banned users.
-
This is an excellent observation and an excellent statement from one of my personal best friends on the forums.
Thank you kindly sir
I'm only trying to help and hopefully people read it. Call me crazy but I'd like this community to improve too

They are serious business. Watch it one day, someone will snap and break a rule in there and get sued by Z8Games. Haha. That would be pretty unfortunate. Lol. I doubt that would happen, but in all seriousness the rules should be read and taken seriously. But unfortunately, 3 out of 5 people probably haven't read them at all. -

They can, by law, sue a hacking website that makes their own hacks. I don't know the backgrounds but my dad said something about a case with Nexon and a certain well known hacking site. -
Cheating and hacking are two critical problems which are encountered during numerous online gaming activities to gain advantage. The internet is a huge resource possessing variety of tools to successfully hack or cheat a game server. We do not tolerate any kind of cheating or hacking which is concluded by our assessment of a player's results
As stated in the Z8Games Terms of Use. They could technically file the paperwork to sue certain not-to-be-named websites and the websites would either have to take down the programs or actually be sued. -

Imagine this:
Big companies, such as ijji, Nexon, and Z8Games team together to sue one certain hacking site. 3 lawsuits in a short amount of time will bring the case to the attention of the law.
