Corrupted Client Crash Fix
Hey guys, SirHi here with another fix for your problems.
Many people have been getting the recent “Corrupted Client” error, therefore I have found a solution. Here it is:
Problem
Basically this implies that your client is “broken” or messed up, and that you should re-download another version, but this is not the real solution! Re-downloading or deleting Cross Fire is not the solution, but this is:
First off, you must have your Video Card (I use an NVidia GeForce GT 120M).
Go to this website: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
Select your driver.
To find your video card information:
The section enclosed in red is your video card.
Now, at the aforementioned website, enter your information (Product type, series, etc.)
Click Search and Download (Approx. 100mb).
When you run it, just use your brain and run it as you run everything else (as admin if needed).
Now, when the installation is done, RESTART YOUR COMPUTER, THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP!
When you turn it back on, Cross Fire should work fine.

I know this is a bump, but I've seen many players have this problem arise again, thus the need for this, once again. If a moderator or GM sees that it's not necessary, they can simply delete my post and it will go back to the depths of the Support Section..
This fix worked for many having the problem before. -
Standard VGA adapter is not an actual graphics card/chip. It is the basic driver windows installed to allow your graphics to function. You need to find out what the actual graphics card is.
If you have a standard desktop or laptop which was not built to spec or upgraded can you post the make and model here and we might be able to tell you which graphic driver you need.
Also, what operating system do you use? WinXP, Vista, 7 and is it 32bit or 64bit? -
