logging in problems

hey guys i play on cf alot and whenever it crashes (happens normally) around 7pm ( i live in england) it begins to lagg wen i type my name and pass in when i press ok then if i do get into a game i have like 220 ping and my average ping is 120

so i would like some help to stop this lag when i log in or go into a channel and server

For you ping, if your on a public wifi, unsecure router and/or shared network other users doing things such as watching videos on youtube, downloading things and just general things that could take up bandwidth will cause your ping to be much higher.

well when i try to log in my computer just sits there intill it times out can someone PLZ help me it is so annoying...
i type in my username and password then press enter but then it just sits there!
