hi everybody i has like this problem when the new patch run i updated my game and i have this problem (Your client is an invalid version. Re-install the latest)
but finaly and after 6 hour i fix it!!!!!
and i just want help pepole who have this problem
how?
it's easy just go to crossfire folders and find file name : verson.ini
click on it right click and choose properties and remove read-only then open verson.ini file
change LatestVersion = 1051 number to LatestVersion = 1052 and save it then right click on verson.ini and make it read-only it's all it ganna be work ur crossfire
i wish i help who have this problem
btw it's maybe ganna work with who have [2007] L[0] problem

hmm ok after u changed to 1052 and change to read only click on patch and it's sure ganna not work.. so open file again and see if it's come back to 1051 or still 1052 if come back to 1051 there is a problem if not idk..' -

Dont save it to a different place. You want to change the number and just save the file. If you save it to a different place, crossfire will still be reading the old unchanged file.

Hey Check The Cross Fire Folder If its Read only change to read and write (uncheck it)
....
