Failed to donwload self-update file

Ive got the problem when I wanna start Crossfire
It says "Failed to donwload self-update file"
All my the ports in firewall are open for it but the error still comes :S
Can u help me pls

i've got this problem too -.- i bought a new computer and wham . i cant play crossfire because the error comes.
