New Patch Issues

Just a heads up to all our users, here are a few things you should be aware of after the patch this morning.

[Confirmed]
1. The Miami servers are currently experiencing some issues after the patch like games not being able to start or crashing back into the room screen. This is being worked on and will be fixed soon.

2. Xtrap is giving a false positive of being a hack on some antivirus programs (AVG seems to be the main culprit here), do not worry there is no virus. (This happens at times due to the nature of anti game hack programs)

3. Lag issues will be present for the next little while as more and more users try and download the patch for the game, please be patient it will get better over the next while.

4. File is changed : W[2007] L[5] crossfire.exe Error when loading the game after the patch. Error may also be W[2007] L[2]. This issue seems to be related to AVG or other antivirus programs thinking that crossfire.exe has a virus and change the file in trying to fix it. Please make sure to allow that file and ignore it or disable the active scan (Resident Shield for AVG) of that antivirus program for now and you should be fine.

1. Badge System counting more kills then should be possible and/or already having some badges unlocked.

If anyone finds any more issues after the patch please let us know in this post and we will work to get the problem fixed quickly.

when i autopatched the game it randomly comes up with a 'wrong cwc error'

I don't remember the full error name, I just know a lot of people remember it as the [2007] error as that's what it says in the error. I keep getting it when I try to run CF after uninstalling it and reinstalling it twice..

I have Problem after Patching i cant enter the game after X-trap goose
its Says

Fire is changed : W[2007] L[5]
crossfire.exe

i tired to to ray reinstall the game

and restarting the PC

I just did the 300 kills for the 1st sniper badge but my killmarks didn't change and when i check the sniper mision status appears like if i had to do the 300 kills again when it should say that i have to do 700 kills for the 2nd badge

Thank you so far for the comments. We are looking into the 2007 error and the Badge issue. Please let us know if anyone finds anything else. I will update here once we have more info.

Yeah, I have an issue...

I've played 50 games this morning, and have not found an identifiable hacker in any of them...

I think, maybe, possibly, I might be missing them a little

Looks like at least our new anti hack tactics are working well for now, we have not seen any hackers in game either and hopefully not for a long time to come! *Fingers Crossed*

I've recieved ALL of the afore mentioned errors attempting to play CF today. I believe the unconfirmed CWC error is connected to open internet window or possibly AVG antivirus which is recognizing the anti hack as a Trojan injector. The Error I recieved was W[2007] L[2] not [5]. It says the file has been changed. My CF install is now as it always has been completely vanilla (original). I run windows Vista.
I would also like to point out that the Login Transfer Screen here on the site does not work properly. I have submitted numerous tickets and I still have immense trouble navigating this site. I can't even reach the web contact form or my support contact history now though the clan pages seem to be working better.

i jost got a few badeges although i didnt do any kills for them but i didnt get the rewards
and my friend did the sniper second class but didnt get the badge nor the rewards

error, i can't even log in :-\ i guess i can solice iin knowing that even thought a legit plr such as myself cant' get in....neither can those GD MF POSs hackers, cheaters, and glitchers!

If running AVG or other anti virus programs please try and add the file "crossfire.exe" etc. as safe or avoid the scanning of the file or just disable the active scan (Resident Shield for AVG) of the virus scan for now and see if you still get the error.

Seems to fix the issue for us here after testing it with some programs.

How does one mark CrossFire as safe with avg? I've ran gamebooster to close avg while the game redownloads, and I still get the 2007 error.

If you're still having problems with the Loading errors, please go to this thread, there you will find some possible fixes.

Possible solution to the loading errors.

Lost My Sniper Badge

Today I got 300 kills for the sniper. Then I did 100 for the knife badge. I went to switch my badge from sniper to assasin, and my sniper badge dissapeared. This is a confirmed problem, i have the GP awards from both in my account. Also my kills/deaths are around 400 100 for knife, 300 for sniper. Please fix it, i spent like 2 hours getting the nsipe badge and now its gone! And when you fix it can u please refund my badge? or restore it

I already sended a ticked, but I gues it would not harm to post it here also.

I played this morning and i earned assassin badge level1. i got the reward and kilmarks. after the next game i checked my badge and i also got sniper badge level 1 and scout badge level 1 but no kil marks or any kind of reward. After i reached level 2 assassin badge same thing happen. I got level 2 sniper badge and scout badge. While i dit not earn it, Or dit not get the reward and kilmarks.

Hope you can fix this problem soon.
