Go try search for the Solutions thread the GM's/MODs made a whole list of errors and how to Fix them "Rageeeeee ing" on the forums isn't going to resolve your problems.

Swearing infront of a PC screen isn't hard and a 7 year old could do the same. You asked for help and the only thing that can help you is the "Thread" that I told you about.

If that many people had the problem it would have been fixed already, clearly its only the minority of people that have the error.

If you don't give a **** then don't make useless threads.

I feel your pain, Lefix. And I'm here to join the cause.

Also, Z8 has confirmed this on numerous occasions and have a thread that is reduced strictly to collecting hardware information from the people that are affected by the X-trap update, so at least be informed of what you're going to criticise before making bad suggestions. Yes, I'm talking to you, KingstarKB. If nothing's messed up with your game, go play it. I know that's what I would do. Going 'round the forums telling everybody how wrong they are is pretty much the same as swearing in front of your PC screen, so don't you try to take the moral high ground on this one.

Rather than posting unhelpful complaints in a stickied thread which I mentioned earlier, Lefix has created a thread where people can vent and express their feelings on the whole issue without getting in the way of mods who are simply acquiring technical data. There's nothing wrong with that, because there's lots of frustration going around, and no particular thread to channel it to.

More than 3 days have already passed and X-trap hasn't done anything to fix an issue which by all means should be considered critical. Pros and cons of this update aside, at the moment their "anti-hack service" has turned into nothing but a game-breaker for many CF players.

Anyone, without a doubt, will agree that control over your character is one of - if not the most - crucial points of any FPS. Games that don't provide precise, sharp and responsive controls are condemned by the gaming public and deemed unsuccessful. X-trap doesn't just hinder controls or make them sloppy - it renders them unusable for as long as 5 (five!!!) seconds - more than enough to get killed even by the worst of the worst. And I'm just talking about the times when the controls freeze and you stay in one place, not the times when it makes you unload your clip into a wall or float helplessly into enemy fire. Have I mentioned that it does so rather disturbingly often? Almost every minute + a little glitch here and a little glitch there while you're praying for the next big one to pass without you getting killed.

What's supposed to be a tool for gameplay enhancement and protection has now become a capricious piece of software which, while still easily bypassed by the ones who don't want to play fair, commits random acts of malevolence towards the player it's supposed to "protect" in the first place.

If a service doesn't work, it's a bad service. Simple as that.
