Most top teams... all should.. have a default strat if no strat was called anyway..
Yes all should this was a bing thing i tried to bring to CSS teams with me. ALWAYS have a Default so if nothing gets called people still know what to do... -
if you can aim most common sense strats work. it's the way the team follows the strats more than the call itself because any bozo can call "nade stack box room and hold connector, get a pick, smoke mid and jump cat, etc..."
you're right and you're wrong. A lot of the time mid-round audibles are very important and a good caller needs to identify when is the right time to call something that differs from the assigned strat when things don't go as planned or when another option seems better.
For instance 1 of our B takes on ceyhan is a straight rush but if we've taken B multiple times and we know they either A. have stacked the site or B. They rotate incredibly fast leaving us with map control so after we get 1-2 kills and we know they've called that we're full pushing someone on our team may identify what they're ding and call an audible to pull back as fast as we can and hit A/mid very fast before they realize it's a fake.
It's those kind of on-the-fly calls that help our team thrive, a strat should be a loose guideline for the round leaving space for changes mid-round whenever a teammate feels confidently enough that another course of action is better. -
LPK is the best, we all take command and call strats on the fly whenever anyone feels its a good idea. Thats why we win leagues.
he lies
he pays a good source player to give him good strats
show the source player map overlay
strat created -

except we are the source players you're referring to.
And i'm still wondering who you are, you like to talk about being an "oldschool" cf player and a source player, but I don't recognize you from either game. -

doesn't everyone call on the fly? 0.o
or at least that's what happens if you play picks and lose a man on any team i've been in.it's kind of common sense that if they have lets say 4 people rotate to B and you have 3... to work a strat towards the other site. it's really not that hard to call on-the-fly strats. the hardest part is knowing if your team is going to listen to them or will they keep trying to out-rifle some guy elsewhere, which is the main difference between a top team and some decent echo 8 team. In other words anybody who knows the map and is not a pubstar will understand what's happening in-game and will try his best to work with what he's got to change the strat mid-game.
