McAfee served me well, but since Comcast changed to Norton, I got NOD. It wasn't all that bad, but NOD alerts me alot more. McAfee is also pretty easy to get into the options. -
Yea, first off I hated the Norton interface, and I got mad that it always wanted me to backup everything on a disk. >.> But I like both NOD and McAfee though there seems to be some less good comments on McAfee, but it had some troubles with CF/GameGuard (back in da day man)/X-trap, but never had any with NOD, though easy to fix problems with McAfee.

Thats actually one thing I've never had a problem with because i run 2 "Hardware profiles" on my pc so whenever I run CF my McAfee is dormant and cant do ANYTHING. I do run on a slow PC that's why I gave the advise to get something different.
