Typing/seeing Chinese
Recently I have found myself playing with a larger community of Chinese players and their words always come out in odd characters that don't relate to any Chinese language.
I have downloaded east Asian language pack on my OS and added Chinese PRC and others. none seem to work. I still can't see Chinese characters and when I try typing it just comes up as "?"'s which I'm guessing means I have the wrong thing or the game isn't understanding it. A clan mate said Mandarin (sp?) is the correct one, but that isn't on my list of usable languages.

Maybe you need to add Chinese (Simplified) into your system and registry? Or buy a computer from China that is 10 times cheapers than HPs and 10 times faster than Acers
OK, if you can see the following characters your computer should be OK.

My dad has one. It's better than my ASUS Laptop which was $3000 and gets 300 FPS. I can't believe I'm not allowed to play on it tho
He has a password lock on everything. Load up = password lock, run program = password lock, etc. -

Yeah ive seen it mostly happen with people who are in the same clan. I know how annoying it gets to fill up the screen with spam or text so that's why I try to keep it in either team or clan chat.i dont think theres a way to translate ingame sadly.
@rawrBella ... i also agree. it gets quite anoyying when i got one freind talking to me and 6 chinese people saying manderine stuff all over the screen and it confuses me. -
it can be annoying. i used to hate it. but id like to learn stuff. and i saw the chinese writing from the earlier post but i still don't see it in game nor can i type it. 拟好 is hello. some clanies are teaching me. one even gave me a super nice program to use. the comes with neat features like this
O(∩_∩)O~ which can be fun on facebook and msn chat. but still no in game. ah well. ill stick to typing in english letters. zaijiani 再加你 = bye. -

i can, but in game it's weird. -

same on both laptops, it might have to do with the game file compatibility with the language pack
I think a patch should come out to account for this, anyone agree?
The official language of this game is english.
While we can't stop people from writing in other languages using A-Z, we will not waste time by adding support for unofficial languages. -
