Client File Corruption Detected

Recently i started back playing crossfire and i downloaded and installed v_1051. Everything went smoothly til i tried to play or load the game. Every time i try to load the game it gives me this message...

Can anyone tell me why this happens or how to get around/fix it?

same here it so anoyying i downloaded 3 differnt clients all says the same stuff it like bugging me cause i have 50% annd i wanna use it

I kno, But to make it worse i had rented items that i only got to use for like 1 or 2 games LMFAO now they're gone

i got this on normal pc my parent, i cant start crossfire

and i dont know wich settings i need to put ( this pc = windows xp ) it would be nice some1 helping a bit =.=

the gms/devs are not very good at keeping there site up to date lol everytime there is a new gun it takes a week to add it to the guides

In some cases you may need to download or re-download a new copy of the client which can be found here http://crossfire.z8games.com/downloads2.aspx or for faster possible speeds you may also try downloading from our torrent download here http://crossfire.z8games.com/images/download/torrent/CrossFire_Setup_v1051_xfire.exe.torrent

For any lag or ping related issues you may just need to just wait a bit longer for the amount of users downloading the patch to decrease before speeds go back to normal.

Fixed it on my comp

So i Fixed it by installing the torrent from the alternet sites im going to assume they messed up on there version so yea get the torrent version

Download a new client installer. Re install completely.

You know, I had to re-intall windows & start from scratch- also make sure u wipe off everything related to cf first before u try re-install ur windows shizzle:) gl....

Took awhile, like three pages to solvve this problem. You should have listened to some of the long suggestions like RE-DOWNLOADING!
