Uninstall the game. You'll also want to manually remove the X-Trap folder too by going to Program Files>Z8Games and deleting the entire X-Trap folder.
Download CCleaner and clear the registry of all traces of Crossfire
Once that's done, turn off you antivirus and firewall and download a fresh copy off the website (You may want to use the torrent, I've found it to be the fastest and it 100% works. You'll also need a Bit-Torrent Client like uTorrent to download a torrent)
Then finally install the game and add the entire Crossfire folder to you antivirus' exceptions and try running the game. It should work -
