Screen Size Issue

Thank you to those who take the time to read and answer.

The situation: I've just recently upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium, installed all the drivers and such. However, when I play crossfire, my screen is narrowed. Let me explain this more clearly. The highest resolution I am able to use is 1024 x 768; any higher and it says monitor will not support. When I say narrowed, I mean narrowed, not smaller. There are black vertical rectangles on each side of my crossfire screen. It produces the same effect in full screen and windows mode. If you need further information to solve this problem, I would be more than happy to update with any additional information. Please reply if you have a solution.

Additional Information: I've played normal (Wide/Full screen) on Windows Vista prior to the upgrade perfectly fine.

It's because that Your screen resulotion ( I'm sure i didnt spell that right) isn't available on CF yet. Wait till it comes, I need the 1360 X 768

But I've played Crossfire without problem in full/normal screen mode on Windows Vista

I'm having a similar issue.

Let me start off by saying i'm playing CF on a Windows 7 32 bit OS, with a GeForce 470 GTX my screen resolution is 1920x1200. I updated to the patch the other day and all of the room backgrounds were messed up graphically, but i was able to still play full screen. about my 10th game yesterday I get an error and it crashes the game. So I restarted CF and joined a Server fine, joined a channel fine, got into a room and clicked on the button to start playing in that room. The game went to the top left hand corner of my screen and was black then i get an error. This happened 15+ times so i uninstalled and re-downloaded the game installed it. All my graphical problems are gone, except now I'm only able to play the game in the top left hand corner of my screen (i can see the rest of my desktop) Again i state i was able to play with this resolution up until Yesterday. I've had this problem before but cannot remember how i solved it.

Please help and if I need to clarify more I'll try to answer any questions to help make my problem clear so that it gets solved.

You have to set your resolution to stretch....I forgot how and I can't disable or enable mine anymore for some reason since the option just disappeared after I used mobility modder.

turn off window scaling in drivers control panel!
