Am I getting Worse or are people all super skilled now?!
I am not the best player, but I sure as hell know that I'm not the worse... Or at least thats what i thought. Lately I haven't been able to get any kills at all. For some reason my kill/death ratios been ending up around 1:3. No matter what strategy i use, i cant seem to get a kill. Its frustrating. People are killing me before i even notice them, or are making impossible kills. I always get massive headaches when i play now. A friend that i introduced to FPS about 2 months ago is now pwning me. I hope that my skill is deteriorating because if this difficulty is the new standard, i might as well give up on video games. This is confusing and i have no idea whats going on. I'm all ears to suggestions.

Yes people are becoming better at this game. If you wanna become better than you need to play a lot. If you play this game once a week then you probably wont do very well in games.
^.^ When you get a headache go play Mario its fun and its kinda easier than CF

thing that works best is take a break from cf... if you want to play on the computer try playing something different from shooters i guess. for example i played a game called freelancer which is a sort of space simulator thing, there you cant move around very fast so when i came back on cf and got an awm i was fast as lightining (...and it was a littl bit frightening cause i was kung-f..fuc it)
also if you are playing on uk1 there are some general server lag issues that ive noticed (everyone has ping spikes) so they kind of tank shots and warp around. but its very unnoticeble(unless you press tab alot XD )
best advice take a break and keep in mind the lag. -
Trust me when i say this. I play enough to have crud loads of skill. I'm skilled in any game i spend an hour playing. My first FPS ever was halo 2 and in 1 hour i turned a 4:40 to a 35:40.
Also, I play RTS, Side Scrollers, Flash games, RPG, and everything else out there u could possibly make up. In almost every game genre possible, I have began to suck, even in storylines. But I guess I will take a break from games period. -o- Maybe I should play another sport. -
Maybe your FPS is to low?
Switch different crosshairs, find the one that suits you
Possibly adjust the mouse sense. Maybe make it a lil' slower for better headshots, or faster for 360'n madness?
Maybe you should try out a new gun?

Use your M700 for a little while. After a day or two of getting only headshots, being able to use an M4 or similar gun should be a piece of cake. Everyone goes through slumps in CF, just try alternate guns through your gameplay, this way you'll always be on your toes.

Everyone has there ups and downs in any game. I recommend just not caring for a while,just don't get worked up about anything and use a completely different gun to normal,maybe make a new account and go play in rookie server,get easy kills and boost your confidence.

Play something completly different then CF. try a strategy game as WOW. Or racing game or FIFA. Then when ur bored u wanna start CF again. Ull play alot and u will get skills back even more! -

I was in 2 games with instant kill hackers today.....guy was like 54-2. Died the instant I got out of spawn.

I find brazilians to be easier to kill than people with low ping. Is it just me? -
well it helps me on console games and pc.
What i do to get into the mood of owning people is to listen to music while playing
TDM. Idk if this works for you but it works for me.Also i tend to not try hard to get good scores because usually when i try hard i fail but when im like "its a game whatever" i become more good...its odd actually...
EDIT:Also play with a clan member,go PUB you'll learn alot and you will find yourself better than you were
before also your going to have fun... -

Just to Regain some composure. And confidence , i hardly get outside now .
and I need to start training again for my football team. So i might have something to go for like football , So why cant you find something else youve wanted to try i have . -
This happened to me for 3 days. I couldnt play at all. Try using a higher sensitvity, get used to it, then go back to your old sensitivity. after I did this my headshot skills were back.
Also I've noticed that the M12 = noobcannon...Really should be nerfed. -

Oh yea,back in the day with gameguard i had a negative KD,camping was suicide,everyone were ''pros''.Than x trap came and i loled at the difference. -

i agree
everyone has their off days. maybe today's just not you're day to win a ton of games, or score a multi-kill. i just recommend taking a break from CF, not to stop caring but to sharpen your skills using another game. For instance, if you havent played CF in a few months, it might be a good idea to play a good flash game like CF Shooting range (to warm up) before actually playing CF.
or maybe you're trying to hard. i find i get tons of more kills when i am relaxed playing CF than when i am stressed. -
Thanks for the suggestions, but I think I'm back on my feet. This might be a late reply but I think all of your consideration needs to be acknowledged. What I did was take about 2 weeks off, and then came back for really quick games, but in those quick games, I would never check the score, and just play with all I've got. I also had heavy metal playing really loudly with headphones on; it helped me get my adrenaline pumping again. In any case I think a big factor was that I got a lot more motivated after getting a SPOP.
Also I found out that I LOVE the axe. (a lot more then the shovel)
P.S. I didn't Buy any ZP I just collected A LOT from doing surveys. Built up to about 28000ZP
EDIT: I also got my first 9 kill streak today. It felt great! I also forgot that I had music blasting one time, and joined a GM game. I ended up the ACE 3 times in a row; if that's not epic, I don't know what is.
