question about ranks?

They offer ZP for a reason.

And dont worry dude, lots of other people feel the same way. Once you rank up you can get some pretty nifty weapons.

Usually I'm not one to mention specific games outside the one I'm currently playing, just make a generall reference.

This time I will make an exception. I'm sure many here are familar with EA's Battlefield series.

It too has a ranking system with the exception that in it's system after obtaining a new rank you recieve a new unlock(weapon/gear). If you played long enough you could unlock everything and I think that is what kept me hooked on it as long as it did.

Here I don't think rank has much value. I may be missing something but I do not see where it adds any benifit at all. In a way I suppose it's a good thing knowing I can go toe-to-toe with a captain as a sargent knowing the only thing he might remotely have better than me is experience and not a weapon advantage. I have even spectated some captains that did not have the skill to earn the respect their bars were implying.

Bottome line...just have fun.
