Game crashes and goes back to desktop

The game starts up just fine... I get in the server pick a match and as soon as I hit the "join game" button the screen turns all black for a few seconds it blinks sometimes and then it just goes back to desktop... no error message no nothing... the game just crashes I've searched the forums but couldn't find a thread of this problem so if anyone can help would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Try turning off your antivirus or firewall. If your computer is a bit slow loading go to setting switch the graphics to low and gamma 100.

The screen blinks? My laptop used to turn black and blink, then crash before I updated my graphics drivers, try that?
Edit: Fail, wont let you say F,l,i,c,k,e,r,s

Have you tried changing Game resolution?

I have kind of the same problem, when i hit "Join Game" it the bar at the bottom loads like usual, but right before it finishes the screen goes black for a second and a error box comes up, but it disappears too fast.

What are your system specs and are you able to play cf?

Wait nevermind. I realized that it only does it when I have Itunes up. Usually when Im in-game now I randomly get stuck on an object and slowly start flying up. Its very odd
