Once I downloaded Cross-Fire it gone slower and slower and more slow!
Well, I downloaded crossfire for the 3rd time, and it happens again!
Ok, so here is what happens:
I installed Cross-Fire and played it. For the first couple of minutes the game played smoothly. But as later I played (of course different times of the day), my game starts getting slower and slower and more slow that it seems like the fps is getting all gittery and laggy. So I decided to re-downloaded it, re-install it. Then play it. It runs smoothly at first, then...The same error occurs! How can I prevent my game from being slow over time?
I tried closing un-necessary programs for more RAM. I tried even rebooting. Nothing worked! I even tried turning off the anti-virus program too(since it started to become more slow when that odd antivirus 'message' popped up in the middle of the game. (I'm using Spyware Doctor - by PCtools)).

First try turn everithing (antivirus) off ok after use gameboster (it might work) if it doesn't work well send a support ticket -
Well, I also went to the non crowded servers. Yeah, because I noticed that the crowded servers are tremendously laggy. But thats not the case with the least populated.

Anyway, I had done what EX_Bogdan suggested. It still wouldn't work. But I did notice that with the game booster, it worked a little bit (less jerky than before). I also took off the Anti-Virus Doctor Software before I play the game. But still I come up with the same problem after a couple of minutes. But oddly, it always happen AFTER a match. I think something is going on when it takes you from the game screen to the menu screen. Hmm, I wonder if the mirror downloads has to do any of this. What do most people choose when downloading this game. Because I chose to download 'East Coast - Mirror 4'.

SPOPssKILLER, is it possible to change the settings for the frames per second? I know other games allow you to do this. But I am not sure about this one. I couldn't find any setting for it in the options menu.

I don't know if my graphics card or ram has to do anything. But I have DirectX 9.0, 2040MB RAM, and Chip Type: Intel(R) 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset. (copied off of dxdiag "thing". =/ )
*Sigh* Hopefully the next game update will focus more on variety of computers.

Oh yeah, while I'm posting (this is kind of off topic but...):
When purchasing stuff from the virtual store, when it says for example "7 days of use" does it mean by game days (The time on the item depletes during the time your on crossfire) or does it mean by real days (The time on the item depletes even if your on logged on the crossfire)? I just want to make sure before I buy something. Because just incase its 'real days', I better then should just save my GP than spend it. -
Its Could Be Your "Start Up Programs". Heres another way to get rid of stuff ( At StartUps, Meaning reboot ). Go To Start>Run>Type in: msconfig, Go To The "service" tab, Click on "Hide all Microsoft Services", Then Press Disable all. Then Press "OK". After That It Will Tell You To Reboot. After the reboot it should be okay Maybe? iderno but give it a try. It Worked For Me. Ohh and... If Your FPS is Dropping... Try Lowing Your Graphics To Low. You Can find the options in the game. Also... Put Your Video Card To Performance. It Will Also Run Smooth.

Oh fudge! Its happening again! What is crossfire doing to make it slow again? It seems like I have to defrage with game booster, each time I log out of cross-fire. But the slowness problem caught up with my game booster and its getting all laggy/slow again! What now? Is it the game?
