Fix for fsgk xtrap error!

So heres the fix for this error.

First go to Task Manager and go to the Services tab.

Second find this service.

Click on it once, and push the services button in bottom right corner.

Find the file again, right click it, and stop it.

The game SHOULD launch perfectly after this. Tell me if it worked for you.

yay finally got around this stupid error!

im getting frustrated with X trap. they need to get their **** together

It might be under processes for Vista or XP, but im not sure. just look for the FSGK file and stop or end it. Thats the only way atm to fix this.

I don't have the FGSK file. I have XP and I don't know what causes it.

Umm dude i got a question umm when you do this and the next time you turn on your pc do you have to keep doing the same thing to play the game just wondering?

No, you will have to do it every time. It is a process and is most likely in your startup folder.

guys u do realise that fskg32.exe is yer live minute by minute anti virus protection ending that will put you at risk

Well actualy if you go to properties on that sevice, you can disable it from startup.

My anti virus says that my computer is protected and anti virus is running fine.

Your firewall is still running, just no real-time virus/spy-ware protection.

Again this only applies to people with F-secure.

Edit- I am pretty sure this Xtrap situation is all over.

It is actually under processes for people using window xp home edition. To ask the task manager, simply go to help and support located on the start menu then type "task manager". Open it, find the file and stop the fsgk32.exe.
