Question about in game score using tab key

I play MM a lot, and when I hit my tab key to check the score it has an area labeled "Status" and players usually have a number between 120 and 160 but some players have a really low number like 23 or something like that. What does this "Status" mean?

That would be your ping/lag.

its the ping (time it takes for the person's computer to react with the server), lower it is, the better the hit registration and lower the amount of lag.
