Team Fortress 2 worth it ?

I was on my steam just looking at games and i saw Team Fortress 2 it has really good ratings. So im thinking about buying it. Anyone have it and think its worth 20$ ?

It was cool until they added user made content. It's still cool, but they're putting way too much energy into making new weapons and not enough into improving what they already have.

i'm just not good at it. Takes too long for someone to did, i have up straight away when my friend tried to teach me. I don't recommend getting it, it's just not worth it, looks too cartoonish as well, i'm more into the realistic looking games.
