[gm] w.t.f........ Issues havent been fixed

I CANT GET INTO GAME SINCE LATE NIGHT YESTERDAY, TILL NOW, ITS BENN LIKE 24HRS...

I click open the game, start game, it self-patches quickly. And then..... Nothing, not even an error message. And back to my desktop

you know that after you press start game, it appears the patcher to see if theres anything new, then after that xtrap comes up and runs, then the game starts loading.

Well nothing about nothing,pure desktop was the LAST mini-patch stupid??

BESIDES THIS NEW HACK PROBLEM WHAT IS GOING ON CROSSFIRE!!!!?

Just as if i have never open the game............ It does not gets to the point of running xtrap and obviously neither the game...

AND ITS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAPPENS TO ME THIS IS THE SECOND ONE, WITH THAT SAME PROCEDURE.

YOU JUST NEED TO DO NOTHING. JUST SIT AND WAIT... MAYBE GOD WILL FIX IT...

SO ANY SUGGESTION RELATED TO TRICKS ARE NOT WELCOME, BESIDES I AM ALREADY DOWNLOADING THE LAST VERSION.

BUT COME ON!!!! DO I WILL HAVE TO DO THIS EVERYMONTH, OR EVERY DAY?? OR EVERYTIME. DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL THE GAME OVER AND OVER AGAIN???? WHENEVER I WANT TO PLAY???

this is a very sensitive game... you OR THEY move something wrong and then it goes to s.h.i.t. IT COLLAPSES AND YOU ARE PRETTY F@#$%ED.

    me as a player and customer, cant be reinstalling and redownloading the game everytime it messses around...

    I will offer you a solution. The exact same thing happened to me, and was immediately fixed on both of my computers when I did this. It involves changing something in one file. You can back up the file to be safe if you wish.

    Navigate to your crossfire folder.
    Open version.ini with Notepad.
    Change "LatestVersion = 10XX" (XX being whatever number) to "LatestVersion = 1048". This forces it to patch the game to the latest version.
    Save the file.
    Right click and select Properties.
    Tick Read-Only and then click Apply, then Ok.

    This is a fix, if you don't want to do it, good luck waiting forever. There more than likely won't be a fix.

    okey i will try it, but then to change the force to last version should i put 1045, since this is the last one??? or i only puto 1048???

    Its your computer not the game, so far I have seen few problems other than hackers.

    Most problems there side where resolved between minutes and a few hours.

    If it would give you peace of mind I will make a video after a clean install of windows and fresh installed game of it 100% patching without any issue.


    Having said that what operating system and protection do you have installed.
