Aero was IP banned AND in-game banned, and the only thing he did REMOTELY wrong was on ventrilo, so it doesn't even matter.
GreyCloak told him that it was a mistake, and that he would be unbanned as soon as Saidin got on. Aero changes his IP and makes an alt n the mean time, posts on the forums, AND GETS IP BANNED AGAIN.

Forum bans DO NOT expire. A GM has to go and reverse them. Tis why they are reserved for extream circumstances. I'm not mad at you Rex, I don't want you to even think for a second that I am.

The only times i see mods(other than rex) are when theyre is a ban about to happen or already happened(like this thread), anyone else noticed this reoccurring theme or the fact that most of the mods dont even post on the forums
I see Delaco on a regular basis still.
BlindRob, GreyCloak, and Deadeye I've always seen FAR more in regular CF-specific forums than I do here.
If you only come to OT, you only see one or two proper MODs. -

I've seen people get infractions and bans for the most ridiculous reasons, then another person be outright offensive and not receive even a single infraction. I have had a MOD who lurks and doesn't even post, give me a ban for posting and joking with a friend in a non offensive way.
I saw some of the LadyShy drama along with it WAAAY back when she got the MOD status and then had it revoked. Some of it was way over the top, but really? You gave a MOD that was disliked MOD a second time and you thought nothing would come of it?
Are the MODs not here to help maintain and appease the community for z8? Not saying that the community is worth it, nor should they have any power, but without anyone posting there is no need for the MODs. If the majority of the community finds a certain MOD useless and bad, then chances are the community is correct.
tl;dr moving on, don't recruit people that are disliked for Moderator status. Also, get rid of the ones that just lurk and hardly have any idea whats going on in the community.
