CF won't open. READ plz

Hey guys,

I need your help.

I think something is broken on my computer. I can't open CF.

I tried :

to put my antivirus off
to re-install it
to install it somewhere else

None of these worked.

Must I reformat my computer?

Thx for your help.

When I open CF, I see :

the patcher
X-Trap
and after, nothing. No loading page with the mutant on it.

I think the problem might be with HGW. I got to talk to Saidin when he's free.

It show any error message? I got that problem a long time ago, just restart your computer and it fix.

It doesn't show any error message. It just doesn't do anything after the X-Trap thing disappears.

Fix it how? Restart my PC? It doesn't work. I've already tried.

I'm using Windows XP.

It may just be that.
I think you need to get a higher OS.
If not, PC or Laptop?

Jack wait lol.

Well, try not to launch CrossFire for a while (like 10 minutes or something) and then try again, I think it works (I did the same).

IDK.
If it worked before, and just stopped working after an update, maybe XTrap is not compatible with your type of OS.

I think you should contact XTrap about this.
They might have some info to if XTrap works with XP any longer.

I noticed there's a message poping up when I close my comp since this day. Maybe something is just broken. I don't think X-Trap doesn't work with XP anymore. Maybe I should reformat my pC and it will be fine.

Do you have another computer? Try it on a laptop or a friend's comp. I wouldn't reformat just for CF though, it could just be your network.

Cross Fire

That happend to me before and some errors like no sound,cant use chat.I did one thing that solved all problems,Delete Cross Fire Registry.That worked for me.Sorry about my bad english.

Jack, unnistall CrossFire (this idea make me sick, but I think you need to do that in ultimate solution!) with CCleaner (this program will delete all your registrys, files, etc from CrossFire), then install again CrossFire. It could work, try it.

I've already deleted CF and some documents related to it, but maybe I missed some. I'll try cCleaner.

i use t o have this problem wen Xtrap patched it like last month
and it took like 7 minutes for CF to pop-up after i saw the Xtrap thingy
how long do u wait b4 u think its not gonna pop-up
