Remove the Kick Vote system
The ability to kick vote any user is only ever abused.

You can say 'No you can't remove it people will hack'
Sadly, over 5% of CrossFire already engages in hacking, and this percent is growing fast. Nobody ever kicks hackers, and because of this fact, this argument is void. People already hack, removing the kick vote system won't stop that.
The ability to kick vote a user is abused, low ranking people with often bad Kill/Death ratios are kicked, people discouraged by the general population are kicked, people from hated clans are kicked, people from different clans are kicked by matches dominated by a particular clan are kicked.
Kicking is abusive. Keeping the kick vote system in the game is the equivalent of CrossFire not having any sort of hack prevention system. Do you pride yourself on allowing abuse within your game(s), CrossFire? If not, then I suggest you look into this suggestion with open ears.

Sorry, but I can't help but think this is a very stupid idea.
Yes, it is abused. But on the other hand it does (sometimes) kick true glitchers and hackers.
The people who abuse it are ordinary nubs who won't get very far in CF.
Maybe, if we didn't have Glitchers or Hackers it wouldn't be abused as much. But that still wouldn't prevent a random person going "HACK F11. OMG HACK KICK."
But, bad idea is bad.
I think if you kick someone who really isn't a hacker or glitcher then you receive a penalty.
Only three penalties are given and if you reach three your suspended or banned from crossfire on your IP.
Though, that has been suggested before. It will probably never happen, like your idea will surely not. No offense. C: -

but yeah, the kick system is anything but over abused. its rare to have 10 ppl press that button that is to the left of f12. kids always keep the glitchers or hack'ers in because they are mentally challenged and cant win without an unfair advanted. but then theres people like me who actually try to kick them, and most of the time it fails. but its worth a try right? without the kick system, i wouldnt get that chance to play fairly.
also, the clan kicking thing. yeah i do it too. its just to get a clan mate in. ofc the person who is 0-95065798 is gonna get kicked. he's a low rank who should be in the rookie server, and if he's too high to be in the rookie server he should eaither uninstall or make a new acc and go back. -
I agree they should make it 5kicks a day. You can only do 3-5 kicks a day the higher the rank the more so from trainee to SFC 3-5 perday after SFC2-1stLT 6-10kicks but honestly after that many kicks and ranks you wouldnt kick you would look like a noob. About 99% of the time time hackers are not kicked but I try it fails, I try to kick glitchers it fails, I try to use it for the reasons it is there, it simply fails.
Whilst trying to kick a glitcher my kick failed and it was me that was kicked and they all knew what they were doing, it was EM and the guy was the last one left in a box so yea everyone was watching this dude and knew, and knew what they were doing by kicking me.
On the other hand kicks initiated by noobs with a bad KDR that normally have only just entered the game pass and whats worse is these kicks are issued for no reason against players with a decent kdr that have been playing all the time for 30 mins or so.
Kick vote fails for the purpose it is there, and with or without it hackers will exist so the best option is to be grown up and if an hacker enters the game and you don't like it leave, currently many many decent players have to leave games because of the kick vote for no reason, leaving a game because of an hacker is a valid reason and its not like they'll get voted off anyway.
Arguments for kick vote are:
It removes, limits or stops hackers - Hackers are not kicked most of the time. There are the same amount of hackers on CF all the time, people don't say "I ain't hacking because of kick vote" do they? or else we would have no hackers. XTrap does a good job stopping them too.
Limiting kick votes - The argument that Hackers would hack and you can't do anything after your kicks are used is false, you can't kick in the clan server, you can't kick in games where you have tried to kick twice, no matter if a real hacker comes or not beside others in the game can kick the hacker.
Kick votes nubs simply do go around kicking everyone either to pi$$ people off or because they think they are helping:
Kick the guy with an high kdr - Hacker!
Kick the guy that killed two guys thats impossible (I can't, I even camp and die!) - Hacker
Kick the guy that killed three guys thats really impossible (I can't, I even camp and die!) - Hacker
Kick the guy that killed four/five guys thats unimaginable (I can't, I even camp and die!) - Hacker
Kick the guy that finds campers (checking all camping spots) he walls - Hacker
5-10 votes a day is plenty and will stop these nubs, besides in every game every person has their kick votes thats 40 kicks per team/80 for the whole two teams. -
Being honest, only pros get kicked.
You should've seen that dude with a 160 kills/9 deaths in a TDM(Egypt..), his ping was 80ish or so. NOBODY even bothered to kick him.
If anyone is going to go like, he's a pro.. Get real, a human can never handle 160 kills/9 deaths in a TDM game on low ping. -

Unless the whole country is banned, he/she'll be able to get on smoothly.
Brilliant idea about the penality, but do you think the system(remember it's a machine.. no understanding without instructions ftw) could determine if the person getting kicked is a cheater/not? It's only up to humans to determine such. -

It does get abused way to often. There we're several people in this threat even admitting they abuse it. I get ace quite often. I am ace usually 70% of my games. Seems like a lot but I am just better than most. I get called "hack.er, waller, aimbot, chammer, noob, camper, tanker" in 95% of the games I play. That's a bit ridiculous. Kids (13-17) play mostly and they're the ones pretty much in charge of who stays and who goes. Kids are mean. They will say and do whatever they want to who ever they want. Nothing in the world is going to stop them from the power they we're granted. They have the ability to kick in a game. To a kid, the kick vote is like the grenade. If you don't use it even if nobody is there, there was a good chance someone could have been there but saving it is a waste. So, they burn it up.
I for one, being better than most if not all of the nay sayers here, am tired of having to find new games because I get kicked from other games because "I hack". -_- I play with what Z8games gives you. Whatever gp you earn, that's all you get. I don't buy anything with money. I use the gp on a weapon, I go out and kill people with it. The abused kick vote system needs to be removed completely. If people get through with a hack, it's Z8games responsibility to keep them out. Players are there to enjoy themselves. Not have to put up with bullsh*t little evil gnome kids that get butthurt when they get killed.
I don't cheat. I never will cheat. I don't even know how to cheat. My ping usually floats around 35-38 and that's normal for me. I am usually in games with people with anywhere from 99-290 pings. Those laggers have issues with their internet or the server. But they abuse the vote kick system and take out their sexual frustrations on the person that killed them just to ease their pain. I agree with the OP on this. Remove this system immediately so the good players can enjoy the game how it was supposed to be played. -

The Voting system should be completely overhauled. I see Cheaters (not hackers learn the definition) continue to play right through to the end of the matches. And silly votes that are for stupid things.
1. Why is there always 8 votes against in a 16-player match? All it takes is 1-player not to agree and cheaters can use a mule account to circumvent being kicked. It should only add +6 votes against not +8 its almost impossible to kick Cheaters.
2. There should be a voting restriction based on bad feedback for failed kicks. 0 (1 vote call every 1 match - the default), -1 (only 1 vote call ever 2 matches), -2 (only 1 vote call every 3 matches) so on.
3. Being kicked too many times should be a red flag for the Server and suspend the Game Account until a GM has time to investigate the case. This is called Server-Sided heuristics and is a great tool at thwarting cheaters, and it cannot be bypassed. On the subject of that if gamelogs are recorded server-sided logic could also peer at that data and check abnormally high accuracy rates for automatic weapons in short amounts of time etc.
Failure to do anything will lead to unhappy players that will eventually leave. I like this game but having cheaters ruin the game makes it harder and harder to stick around.
I'm gonna take a break and maybe come back in awhile to see if new measures get put in place. Good luck and all the best. -

The use of the votekick system right now is about 99% abuse.. Hackers don't get kicked, glitchers barely get kicked, good players do get kicked.
I get kicked from half of the SnD games I join, (lets not even talk about GM games), and I'm getting really tired of it.
The votekick system as it is now, only supports immature and idiotic behaviour. A game as addictive as this should strive for a bigger and better fanbase, and this type of votekick system is not the way to go.
I came here a few months ago from the depths of my CS depravity. The number one thing that made me think about leaving CF was, and is, the dreaded votekick system. CF will never see enough skilled players to let the fanbase mature while this system is still there.
PS. If this system is not removed or improved, do I get all my GP and EXP back which I lost while getting kicked? ...no? How bout the hours wasted then...? -

man that is a great idea and has been suggested before but it will not happen because of noobs like this one below,he cant even comprehend what are you saying and noobs like that need kik voting to kik if someone(a lot of them) is better then them

Yea there should be a cost, GP, EXP or something even if it is just a point added to their record and the total points are displayed by the player so people know who kicks most (most people would figure the large number of kicks is because they abuse the system).
Kick voting at the moment is free and open for abuse.
If there was an hacker would you pay 10-20 gp to kick? sure I would.
