i cant see my friends online

whenever i play it always says that my friends are disconnected when they're really online.
how can i fix this?

Your internet was unable to connect to the 'Buddy server'. (The buddy server is used for personal messaging, friends online, etc.) - Not 100% sure about this since I don't run the server, but i think all of the functions have seperate IP addresses to contact for the retrieval of the information.

Reset your modem and router then try relogging into CrossFire again.

If that does not resolve the issue, PM [GM]Saidin this thread with the following information:

-ISP (Internet Service Provider)
-Your IP
-Current DNS servers (If you don't know what this is then don't bother PM'ing it.)
